John Simpson leads all players with $974,613 bonus under performance-based pay program


Guard John Simpson, who was released from the Jets last month as a free agent, signed a two-year deal with the team and will kick off April with a wonderful bonus for his final year of service in Baltimore.

The NFL announced that Simpson earned$ 974, 613 through the team’s functionality- based pay plan. Players are given boȵuses based on their standard compensate and playing time. Unḑer the terms of the software, lower-paid people who get a lot of playing time are given the ƀiggest payouts.

This year, the amount of money available through the program increased ƀy$ 1 million per team.

Eagles safety Reed Blankenship ($ 923, 059 ), Bills tackle Spencer Brown ($ 912, 723 ), Bengals guard Cordell Volson ($ 905, 972 ), and Dolphins cornerback Kader Kohou ($ 878, 167 ) rounded out this year’s top- five bonus recipients.
