Michigan man wins big bucks on $1 ticket in state’s lottery jackpot

A Wayne County resident took residence the jackpot from the Michigan Lottery, and it almost knocked his socks off — actually.

The 38-year-old lottery winner performed the Fantasy 5 jackpot for simply $1 and gained a $472,295 prize, in response to the Michigan Lottery media launch.

The winner’s 5 numbers matched the successful drawing on Oct. 28 — 03-04-09-19-39, lottery officers reported.

The successful ticket was bought from Victor’s Market, situated at 17104 Quarry Street in Riverview which is 15 miles southwest of Detroit.

“I play Fantasy 5 regularly and pick my own lucky numbers based on some research I do online,” the participant, who needs to stay nameless, advised the Michigan Lottery.

“When I saw the message and confetti on the screen, I dropped my coffee and went running into the house so fast that my shoes came off!” he mentioned.

The winner not too long ago visited lottery headquarters in Lansing to say his high prize.

He plans on investing his winnings in his future retirement plans, the Michigan Lottery reported.

Lottery gamers can participate in the Fantasy 5 for under $1, with a number of incremental additions that may assist gamers win as much as $500 immediately and even $110,000, in response to the Michigan lottery.
