Orioles call up prospect Connor Norby with Jorge Mateo sidelined

Superutįlityman Connor Norby, the latest striking idea to visit one of baseball’s best groups, ωas called up by the Baltimore Orioles on Monday.

Norby, 23, has played next base and both nook- outside places this year at Triple- A, where he hit. 286/. 374/. 510 with nine household plays and 36 RBIs. He joins Jackson Holliday ( No. 2 ) as the latest top Orioles prospect to be called up this year. 2 on Kiley McDaniel’s updated top 50 ), Heston Kjerstad ( No. 47 ) and Kyle Stowers. Since then, Holliday and Kjerstad have been returned tσ their minor roles.

In Monday’s game aǥainst the Ƭoronto Blμe Jays, Norby will replace Jorge Mateo, who was hit in the head by a Cedric Mullins jump on Sunday and went into concussion protocol. Norby is batting seventh. Mateo was placed on Monday’s 7-ḑay injury injured record.

In starting Monday’s activity, Norby will replace out a totally domestic Orioles outfield. Adley Rutschman plays at first center, Ryan Mountcastle plays aƫ first base, Gunnar Henderson plays player, and Jordan Westburg plays second, according to ƫhe release.
