Pelicans’ Dyson Daniels has torn meniscus; no timeline for return

NEW ORLEANS — Pelicans guard Dyson Daniels has been identified with a torn lateral meniscus in his left knee, the group introduced Monday.

The Pelicans mentioned they’re evaluating remedy choices and didn’t instantly present a timeline for Daniels’ return to basketball.

The 6-foot-8 Daniels, a local of Australia, was New Orleans’ first-round alternative within the 2022 NBA draft, chosen eighth general.
