Jim Leonhard is reportedly going to be a part of the Broncos ‘ efforts to eventually getting to where the Chiefs and 49ers are this Sunday.
According to ESPN, Leonhard may serve as Sean Payton’s protective backs coach starting in 2024.
From 2017 to 2022, Leonhard served as the defensive coordinator at the University of Wisconsin. He finished his tenure with the Bears as their time head coach. During the 2023 season, he worked for Illinois as a protective analyst.
Before joining the NFL as a coach, Leonhard served in the health department for ten years. He played briefly for the team he may re-join as a manager but spent the majority of his time with the Bills and Jet.
