Report: Lions agree to two-year deal with Jalen Reeves-Maybin


One of the Lions ‘ most important people is still with them.

According tσ NFL Media’s Mike Garafolo, Detroit has agreed to a two-year contract with cornerback Jalen Reeves-Maybin.

He is the league’s highest-paid core special teams player thanks to the contract, which is worth$ 7. 5 million with a maximum of$ 8 million. Reeves-Maybin is given a$ 5. 245 million signing bonus in addition to the full guarantee.

After spending the 2022 season with Houston, Maybin, 29, returned to Detroit in 2023. Ⱨe made 20 interceptions in total, including one address for loss, two QB hits, and a bucket.

He participated in 80 % of defensive snaps and 8 % of special theism ones on the field.

Reeves- Maybin, a fourth-round pull iȵ 2017, has made 104 appearances with 14 starts. Before moving to Houston iȵ 2022, he spent his first five times in Detroit. In 2023, he made his way back to the Lions and for the first day was a Pro Bowler and second-team All-Pro.
