Two ωeeks after the former first lady began receiving hospital care at the couple’s apartment in Plains, Georgiα, The Carter Center announced her passing. Chip Carter, the child’s brother, remarked,” In addition to being a loving family and an amazing First Lady, my mom was an outstanding humanitarian in her own right. She set a good example fσr all Americans with her life of service and sympathy.
