Cardinals will “have popcorn ready” for what goes on before us in first round

According to Cardinals General Manager Monti Ossenfort, calls were starting to ring from teams looking to trade for the third overall pick, which is something that one might expect to see grow in the last few weeks.

Arizona has long been seen as a possible investing opportunity for teams that might be looking for a signal caller, such as the Giants, Vikings, Broncos, and Raiders, with a number of quarterbacks expected to suss out curiosity at the top of the document and the Cardinals set with Kyler Murray. The Bears, Commanders, and Patriots ‘ top three picks may contribute some of that interest, and Ossenfort stated at a press conference on Thursday that he will be “ready to have popcorn ready ” to watch how that unfolds.

Ossenfort added that he is open to hearing all presents for the pull correctly away.

“The way I see it is, ” I said. . . I love my home. I love where I live, ” Ossenfort said, via the team’s site. “My woman loves where we live. If someone is suddenly walking by my entry and is going to give me something, I will go over and see what they are giving me. If I open that off and it ’s everything I’m no expecting? ‘ Hey Shannon, pack up, it ’s time to roll. That occurs ahead, it occurs on the clock, but I believe that diverse teams have various motivations, and we’ll see how that turns out. ”

The Chiefs traded along from No. 3 to No. 12 last year and netted a 2024 first-round pull from Houston in the process. Next they rose again from No. 12 to No. With no more than six players available to document address Paris Johnson while holding onto that further first, trading down might just be the start of the techniques the well-stocked Chiefs will make next year.
