Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D) daughter revealed that she was suspended from school for her involvement in a pro-Palestinian encampment at Columbia University.
In a post on X, Isra Hirsi defined that she was an organizer with Columbia Students for Justice in Palestine, which pushes the college to “divest from apartheid and genocide.”
Hirsi added that she had obtained discover on Thursday that she is one in every of three college students “suspended” from Barnard College “for standing in solidarity with Palestinians facing a genocide.”
