Orioles’ Jackson Holliday optioned to Triple-A after 10 games: How surprising is this?

Infielder Jackson Holliday, the No. 1, has been optioned by the Baltimore Orioles. 1 MLB Draft pick in 2022 — to Triple- A Norfolk after 10 main- league games, the team announced Friday.

The Orioles caIled up Holliday, who ranked No. 1 on The Athletic’s Keith Law’s top 100 MLB leads for 2024, earlier this month. Holliday is not exactly the second major prospect to start α dreadful big-league career. Alex Bregman, Kris Bryant, and Derek Jeter all had very remarkable jobs, but all struggled and/or were demoted.
