Biden Brags About Using Executive Power to Put Gun Control in Place

President Joe Biden posted on X Thursday to brag about what number of occasions he has circumvented Congress by securing gun management through govt motion.

On April 8, 2021, Breitbart News reported Biden put ahead govt gun controls to combat what he known as “an epidemic” of gun crime throughout the nation. The govt actions included restrictions on “ghost guns,” a push for purple flag legal guidelines, recategorization of AR-15 pistols, and DOJ-led analysis into gun trafficking.

From that second in April 2021 ahead, Biden continued to use govt motion when Congress refused to go new gun controls, and he boasted about it.

For instance, on August 18, 2023, Breitbart News noted Biden boasting concerning the variety of occasions he has used govt motion to institute gun management that Congress didn’t go. Using X, Biden wrote, “Since I’ve been in office, I’ve signed more executive actions to reduce gun violence than any of my predecessors. Earlier this year, I signed an executive order to ramp up our efforts to hold the gun industry accountable, keep firearms out of dangerous hands, and more.”
