The Guatemalan immigrant allegedly disregarded the immigration law and omitted from her reading.

An ICE director told the Daily Caller News Foundation that Josefina Cardona-Cardona, a noncitizen from Guatemala, entered the country illegally on an unfamiliar date and location without being admitted or parole. The organization confirmed that Border Patrol had detained Cardona-Cardona on April 4, 2019, and that she had been taken into Enforcement and Removal Operations prison four days later, on April 8.

Yet, she did not remain in the company’s real custody for long.

According to the ICE director,” She was ] immediately released on an Order of Custody and was required to enroll in and follow the Alternatives to Detention program. ” Cardona- Cardona was ordered to get kicked out of the United States in absentia, which would mean that she had never appeared at her immigration hearing, according to the spokesperson.

After agreeing to pay an undercover agent who she thought was a hitman, Cardona-Cardona reportedly agreed to pay the two cooperating witnesses in her teenage son’s murder trial to give him, according to Palm Beach County law enforcement on Monday. She offered to pay$ 4, 000 for each strike, according to the arrest report.

Her brother, Manuel Marcos Cardona, was at a five- yr- old’s birthday party in June 2022 when a fight broke out. The target succumbed to his wounds the day after being stabbed five times by a witness as a fight broke out.

Marcos Cardona—who was 14 years old at the time of murder, but charged as an adult—was eventually handed a 15- time prison sentence after agreeing to a plea bargain.

The Enforcement and Removal Operations section of ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations department confirmed to the Daily Caller News Foundation that Cardona-Cartagena has since received a ejectment. Local authorities said she may be deported once her case is finished, and she is currently being held in a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office confinement facility.

The most recent flaw in what has become a contentious plan is Cardona-Cardona’s recommendation to Alternatives to Detention.

The Alternatives to Detention program, which was established in 2004, allows immigrants to easily travel throughout the country and avoid actual detention while awaiting immigration court hearings. To stay informed of their whereabouts, GPS tracking, telephone apps, or other forms of monitoring are used to accomplish this.

ICE reports that hundreds of thousands of workers have enrolled in the software as the border crisis progresses. However, according to a past Daily Caller News Foundation investigation, the Biden administration has increased its emphasis on GPS monitoring, which is track illegal immigrants most or even constantly, instead of a telephone application that simply tracks their whereabouts at certain times.
