Jewish Law Student, October 7 Hamas Attack Survivor, Spit On at University of Texas Protest

AUSTIN, Texas — Seth Greenwald, who hopes to graduate in May from the University of Texas School of Law, is a lucky survivor of the October 7 Hamas assault on Israel. Greenwald described his expertise in Israel in the course of the horrific assault that claimed the lives of practically 1,200 folks in Israel. During a video interview, Greenwald informed Breitbart Texas he was spat on twice and informed to “go back to Poland” throughout a pro-Palestine demonstration on the college’s campus earlier this week.

In the video, Greenwald described looking for shelter as 1000’s of rockets had been launched by Hamas towards Israel early on October 7. He shortly famous his experiences weren’t as extreme as these of pals he had who attended the Nova music pageant. Greenwald says a number of stabbings occurred close to his residence, however he was lucky to outlive the assault.

During the pro-Palestine protest organized by the Palestine Solidarity Committee on Thursday afternoon, Greenwald spoke in regards to the lack of civility in direction of Jewish college students at the University of Texas campus a day earlier. After an order to disperse given by campus officers was ignored, practically 60 protesters had been arrested and charged with prison trespassing. According to high school officers, roughly half of the pro-Palestine protesters weren’t college students at the college. According to Delia Garza, Travis County lawyer, most of the prison circumstances had been dismissed on Thursday for deficiencies in possible trigger affidavits.

When requested, Greenwald said he was not happy with the response from the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and different Antisemitic organizations to demonstrations occurring on school campuses throughout the nation. Greenwald says extra must be executed.

Although tensions remained excessive between the group of Palestinian supporters and a number of other dozen counter-protesters like Greenwald, who had been there to support Israel, interactions between the 2 teams and campus regulation enforcement officers had been far more subdued than on the primary day of protests.

As Greenwald spoke to Breitbart Texas, a gaggle of roughly 300 pro-Palestine demonstrators rallied at the campus’ most important mall close to the University of Texas tower. The group, some waving Palestinian flags and sporting the Arab keffiyeh, carried indicators that learn “Free Palestine” as they moved in regards to the central mall. More than 100 others staged on the grassy space close to the tower posting indicators on the George Washington statue that learn “Support YOUR Community, No Cops”.
