Joe Burrow says his wrist feels good, Bengals will continue to be smart with it

During Phase II of the Bengals ‘ offseason plan, quarterback Joe Burrow has returned to the practice field for the past two weeks. With Burrow’s 2023 cut small according to period- ending elbow procedure, the quarterback said on Tuesday that his recovery has been a positive experience.

” I’ve felt great the next two days”, Burrow said in a Tuesday press conference. ” I do n’t ever really know how it’s going to feel until I wake up the next morning, but I’ve been encouraged by the last couple of days, for sure”.

Burrow said he is confident that he has been cleared for everything but contact at this point, which is acceptable given that the season wo n’t last long. Burrow has n’t been able to lift or exercise for a while, but he did start throwing again at the beginning of last month. The player noted he’s still a little rusty, but is making progress.

” This was a tough damage. It’s been a strong several times, but actually, it’s not the worst damage that I’ve had”, Burrow said. ” I’ve been through many, many tougher stuff literally. So that’s been a good. My winter system has been really strong and has continued in the same way it has always been. By the time that day passed, I was able to raise and perform anything in terms of conditioning and the weight room. But, actually and fitness- wise, I feel really good”.

Burrow chose to keep those specific situations to himself because he also experiences elbow pain at times.

You just have to fight through that, according to Burrow, if you want to recover from injuries like these. ” This is n’t a minor injury by any means. But, I’ve been through it with my hip. I am aware of the suffering experienced during such methods. We’ve already come to an end, and I’ve already experienced it. But we’re going to continue to improve throughout the winter.

Like the hip, the forearm also has good and bad days. We’re still a ways off before the winter, so we’ll make sure to give it the cuts it needs. We’ll take it seriously. But on the times that I’m feeling fine, I’m going to proceed. “

Entering his fifth season, Burrow still has n’t had a true” normal” training camp since he entered the league in 2020. He may have a chance to get one of his wrists starting in late July if things go well.
