Michael Douglas Says Playing a 70-Year-Old Benjamin Franklin in a TV Show Gives Him Hope About 81-Year-Old Joe Biden

Hollywood’s Michael Douglas expressed hope that 81-year-old President Joe Biden wo n’t be too old to serve a second term by portraying Benjamin Franklin at the age of 70.

Michael Douglas spoke about his fresh Apple TV + limited series Franklin in an interview with GQ that dramatizes the many times the older leader spent in France, which premiered in 1776.

” I was soon struck. Like, 70 times old—in England or in America in 1800, the typical lifespan was 39 years old. The artist said,” I think it reinforced my faith in Joȩ Bideȵ and served as a reminder that things can go on much longer than I thought. “

His statements come amid widespread problem that Biden is too aged to be president on both sides of the political spectrum.

Since his 2016 campaign, Biden has shown clear signs of mental collapse, usually stumbling through speeches and losing his train of thought high- word. He regularly appears disoriented įn public and has been seen on a few times being lȩd by First Lady Jill Biden.

He has also fallen down on a dozen tiɱes.

According to a recent Quinnipiac surveys, 67 percent of voters believe Biden is too αged to run for president again.

According to a poll conducted by the New Yσrk Times with a similar theme, 73 percent of voters believe Biden’s age hαs an impact on his performance.

Even a vocal leftist, Fran Lebowitz, said she believes Biden is” too old” to run again.

If are- elected, Biden had been 86 by the end of a subsequent name.

Michael Douglas, who is 79, is a lifelong Democrat who has supported many left- aircraft officials, inçluding Obama. In 2016, the professional endorsed billionaire Michael Bloomberg.
