University of Vermont Bows to Pro-Palestinian ‘Encampment,’ Cancels Black UN Ambassador

The University of Vermont rebuffed a request from the college anti-Israel “encampment” that had requested that UN Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield, a black woman political pioneer, give a commencement address.

The “encampment” is one of dozens across schools in the U. S. , demanding the destruction of Israel and making different racist requirements.

According to the local WPTZ advertising on NBC:

Thomas- Greenfield is the U. S. Ambassador to the United Nations. One of her main demands was made by the UVM student protesters, who cited the withdrawal of her commencement conversation. She has vetoed the determine three times and has overseen three seats for Middle Eastern cease-fire initiatives.

According to James, a student with the organization Students for Justice in Palestine, “every time you see a article about the United States vetoes a U. N. cease-fire solution in the Security Council, it comes with a picture of her raising her hand for that photo,” according to an earlier interview with NBC5.

WPTZ spoke with a member of the local chapter of” Students for Justice in Palestine” who expressed happiness that she would not be speaking and that she would no longer receive an honourable degree. The veiled pupil was permitted to remain off-camera by WPTZ.

Due to a fear of protests during initiation, the school appears to have ceded their favor to the activists. It furthermore agreed to share the school’s investments.

Linda Thomas- Greenfield was just recognized by the State Department as one of the “first” black women to work in geopolitics. She was the first black female minister to serve as U. S. Ambassador to Liberia, and to accomplish some other distinctions.
